Intrawest hired Mercer to rebrand Storied Places—an all encompassing three year project. Beginning with ‘At Nature’s Door’ in Whistler and extending across North America to include multiple emerging international resorts. Our assignment was to create a sophisticated, world-class corporate brand, while unifying the 6 disparate resort sub-brands. We wove our stories, icons and imagery across two countries leading up to the sale of Intrawest.
Phase I of the rebrand was to create a corporate vision that reflected the unique qualities and exclusivity of these luxurious private residences located in the world’s ultimate places to play. The extensive research conducted told us these ‘fractional’ private residences offered an ‘effortless’ escape to the world’s most extraordinary locations. This ease of living amidst the beauty of the natural surroundings of these resorts became a life changing, transcendent experience.
Our integrated campaign included development of the identity, stationery, a national ad campaign, brochures, direct mail pieces, presentation and discovery centres, signage etc.
