Deborah Boyd ASSOCIATE CREATIVE DIRECTOR Deb has worked as a designer and creative director with some of the top design studios and ad agencies in Vancouver for 20 + years. Deb is recognized in the design world, winning many awards and serving as a judge for design awards competitions. With a reputation as a passionate creative, she has worked on such accounts as Vancouver Opera, Oakridge Centre, Overwaitea Foods, Metropolitan Fine Printers, Diva at the Met, 18 Karat International, TransAlta and Finning International. In recent years she has been involved in a variety of development projects including Sky Towers, Caban and 24.
Fiona Rigby MEDIA DIRECTOR Fiona is an extremely well respected media professional with over 20 years experience in media planning and buying. She has held senior strategic positions at a number of prestigious agencies in both Vancouver and Toronto. Fiona has worked on a wide variety of local and national accounts including some of Canada’s largest advertisers. Fiona leads the team at Mercer when we build an integrated model for clients, blending traditional media analysis with a broad approach incorporating online and other opportunities. Fiona brings a holistic vision to her work recognizing media as an integral and creative component of an effective communications plan.
Jim Fox DIRECTOR FINANCE + ADMINISTRATION Jim has more than 30 years experience in finance, including designing and setting up one of the first computerized integrated accounting systems for an advertising agency in Vancouver. Born in Nova Scotia, he began his career at a glass manufacturer in Toronto, moved out west to Vancouver as Chief Accountant of wholesale/retail company; and when things got boring moved onto the wacky world of advertising where he worked his way from Chief Accountant to CFO. After the sale of the Bryant, Fulton & Shee to TBWA (Omnicom) in 2001, Jim consulted to the best of the West Coast ad agencies prior to coming to Mercer.Jim is also a bohemian artist and obtained his Certificate in Fine Arts from the Emily Carr University in 2009, walked the Camino de Santiago (twice) and since 2006, has completed numerous runs including some 25 half marathons, 20 marathons and 4 ultra-marathons.
