On Blogs. The facts are if you read
between the lines of most blogs, it isn’t
long before you understand everyone
on the planet is really looking for the same
thing: it all translates to the basic needs
of feeling wanted, loved and being vali-
dated for who we really are. Maslow’s
hierarchy of needs come to mind.
Want a refresher? Needs for a human
being to be met from the bottom up are
Physiological, Safety/Security, Social
[belonging], Ego [self esteem] to Self-
actualization. Have the dynamic baby
boomers failed the ‘next’ generation?
Is the western world experiencing the
repercussions of a lost generation stuck
somewhere between the social phase
of belonging + ego validation. Masses
of blogs and tweets created, the
creators longing to be recognized
read and understood.
